Vertical Platform Lifts
Vertical platform lifts, whether self contained in their own structures or installed into a blockwork shaft are considered to be a practical and cost effective solution to low and medium rise access problems. Both internal and external platform lifts are available offering travels of up to 14 metres, with as many as six stops.
Any combination of entry/exit configurations is possible even with more than one door on a landing. A wide variety of doors can be specified including single swing and centre opening with power operation if required. All of the platform lifts that we specify are fully compliant with current regulations and include such features as:
Battery back up for travel in case of power failures
Battery backed alarm
Arrival gong or voice annunciation
Braille buttons
Safety edges
Any RAL colour can be specified and custom sized units are available should the existing space be restricted.
All platform lifts have been designed with ease of installation in mind and generally require very little alteration to the building.
